<Spooky Skeleton Jelly Toothpaste>
Published by Totobook, 2022

It’s not flashy, but this is my favorite picture book I’ve ever made. I drew it in my favorite way — using a ballpoint pen for the line work and adding color digitally. Designing and drawing the cute little ghosts was pure joy.

I had fun imagining the small village where the ghosts live, as well as creating the grandmother who visits them and her axolotl-shaped car. Every page — from the grandmother’s workshop to the making process to her encounters with the ghost children — was an absolute delight to work on.

Still, it seems the book didn’t sell very well. I honestly have no idea why.
