#PictureBook
Working as a picture book illustrator is truly enjoyable. When I find a manuscript I connect with, I get so happy at the thought of illustrating it beautifully. I love the process of sketching, imagining the characters, and building the world within.

It's not easy to capture it exactly as I imagined, but it's still fun. Sometimes, I receive revision requests from editors and designers that are hard to accept. But most of the time, after the book is published and I look back, the revised parts are actually better. I feel a little embarrassed when that happens. That's why I like them.

In the past, I used to work with the intention of making a single picture book an artistic masterpiece. Now, I like balancing my artistic soul and the deadline, and I even wonder if that balance itself might be art.
