I also occasionally create book cover illustrations. I enjoy them because I can work freely, often starting with just a small theme or a few keywords. Since these projects are usually completed in one go, they’re a nice break after longer, more time-consuming works. I imagine other illustrators might feel the same way about book covers for the same reason.
